Welcome to BlemishBuddy. These Terms of Use apply when you access or use the BlemishBuddy app, website, and related services. By using BlemishBuddy, you agree to these Terms.

1. What BlemishBuddy Is

BlemishBuddy is an educational and wellness-focused skincare platform designed to help users understand skincare, ingredients, routines, and healthy skin habits.

Features may include skin education, ingredient information, routine tracking, daily check-ins, breakout logging, AI-supported guidance, photo-based features, progress tracking, Skin Heroes, and other educational content.

2. BlemishBuddy Is Not Medical Advice

BlemishBuddy is not a medical service.

Nothing provided through BlemishBuddy is medical advice, a medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional healthcare. AI-generated information can be incorrect or incomplete. Do not use BlemishBuddy to diagnose acne, infections, allergies, skin disease, or any other medical condition. For persistent, severe, painful, unusual, or concerning symptoms, seek a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service in your country.

3. Accounts

Some features may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity through your account. Information you provide should be accurate where accuracy is necessary for the feature you use.

4. Young Users and Minimum Age

BlemishBuddy is intended for users aged 13 and over. You must be at least 13 to create or use a personalized BlemishBuddy account. Where the legal age to independently consent to personal-information processing is higher, you must meet that higher age to use the personalized service without parent or guardian permission.

BlemishBuddy currently provides no parental-consent process for users below the applicable digital-consent age. By continuing through age confirmation, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirement. If you do not meet it, do not create an account, submit personal information, upload skin photos, or use personalized BlemishBuddy features.

5. AI and Photo Features

Some features may use artificial intelligence. AI output is generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your individual circumstances.

If and when Skin Photo Analysis becomes available, it will be provided for educational and skincare guidance purposes only and will not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

You should use your own judgment and seek professional advice where appropriate.

6. Your Content

You may be able to submit information, messages, check-ins, photos, and other content. You retain your rights in content you submit and give BlemishBuddy the limited permission necessary to process it to operate the features you request.

Do not upload content you lack permission to use, images of another person without permission, illegal or harmful content, or content intended to interfere with or misuse the service.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not attempt unauthorized access to another user's account or data; bypass security; abuse or overload BlemishBuddy systems or AI features; scrape or systematically copy the service without permission; interfere with normal operation; or use BlemishBuddy unlawfully.

8. Skincare Information and Products

BlemishBuddy may provide information about skincare ingredients, routines, or products. Individual responses vary. A product or ingredient that works for one person may not work for another. Product information, recommendations, affiliate relationships, or sponsored content should be identified where required. Commercial relationships do not turn BlemishBuddy content into medical advice.

9. Intellectual Property

BlemishBuddy branding, design, original illustrations, characters, Skin Heroes, Buddy character, written content, graphics, software, and other original materials may be protected by intellectual-property laws. Except where permitted by law, you may not reproduce, distribute, sell, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized copies without permission.

10. Availability

We aim to keep BlemishBuddy available and working properly, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may be changed, improved, suspended, or removed as the service develops. Beta, experimental, or AI-powered features may change over time.

11. Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, BlemishBuddy is not responsible for decisions made solely in reliance on educational or AI-generated information. Nothing excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer or data-protection law.

12. Privacy

Our processing of personal information is described in the BlemishBuddy Privacy Policy.

13. Ending Your Use

You may stop using BlemishBuddy at any time. Where available, you may request deletion of data or your account through the app or by contacting us. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, prevent misuse, or maintain security.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as BlemishBuddy develops. Material changes will be communicated where required. The latest version and effective date will be available through BlemishBuddy.
