BlemishBuddy

Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how BlemishBuddy uses cookies, local storage, analytics technologies, and similar technologies when you use our website or app.

For simplicity, “cookies and similar technologies” includes browser cookies, local storage, session technologies, SDK-based analytics, and similar identifiers.

2. Local Storage

BlemishBuddy uses browser local storage for certain preferences and functionality. It is similar to cookies because information is stored on your device, but it is not automatically transmitted with every web request. Identified examples include language preference, onboarding state, welcome-message status, and sponsor or interface-dismissal preferences. They help BlemishBuddy work and remember your choices.

3. Authentication and Security

BlemishBuddy relies on Base44 platform services for account authentication, login sessions, and certain security functions. Base44 may set cookies or similar technologies necessary to keep users signed in, authenticate accounts, maintain sessions, prevent unauthorized access, and protect against abuse and threats. Exact names and lifetimes are not exposed in BlemishBuddy application code and may change as Base44 evolves. These are necessary for operation and security.

4. Analytics

BlemishBuddy contains calls to base44.analytics.track() to track app events and understand interaction. The Base44 platform manages the underlying implementation, and BlemishBuddy code does not expose all SDK, storage, identifier, or retention details. Where law requires consent for analytics, non-essential analytics should activate only after consent. Different rules may apply if analytics are strictly necessary for security or technical operation.

5. Strictly Necessary Technologies

Necessary technologies may support authentication, login sessions, security, fraud and abuse prevention, essential technical operation, and user-requested functionality. Where law permits, they may be used without consent because they are required to provide the requested service.

6. Functional Technologies

Functional technologies help remember choices and improve the experience, including language settings, onboarding status, and interface preferences. They are not used for advertising.

7. Advertising and Marketing Tracking

BlemishBuddy does not intentionally use cross-site advertising or behavioural advertising technologies unless specifically introduced in the future. If introduced, this policy will be updated and appropriate consent controls added where required.

8. Third-Party and Platform Technologies

Base44 or other infrastructure providers may set or manage authentication, security, analytics, hosting, and platform technologies. Their names, formats, and lifetimes may not be visible in BlemishBuddy code and may change. BlemishBuddy does not intentionally list cookie names or durations that cannot be verified.

9. Your Choices

Where consent is legally required, you should be able to accept or reject non-essential technologies. Rejecting optional analytics should not prevent essential functionality. You may manage or delete cookies and local storage in browser or device settings. Deleting authentication or essential storage may sign you out, reset preferences, restart onboarding, or stop features until you sign in again.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when BlemishBuddy introduces technologies, Base44 platform behaviour changes, analytics or third-party services change, or legal requirements change. The latest version displays the most recent update date.

11. Contact

Questions about cookies, local storage, analytics, or privacy can be sent through contact details provided in BlemishBuddy and on blemishbuddy.app. For personal-information handling, read our Privacy Policy.
